Very good presentation on garden railroading, beautiful layout and construction of the site is extreme.
Great job. A definite inspiration. Northern Illinois presents challenges and requires constant maintenance. Though I’m sure that any U S location has its challenges. I can sure identify with Steve’s comments about bugs, & similar critters.
Super effort Steve!!!
Thanks for the inspiration…

Beautiful ! Looks like Steve is really having fun with the railroad and the Grandkids.
You can tell by yhe constant smile on Steve’s face as he is describing his railroad.
Great Layout!!! Nice run . You had an idea and ran with it.The trains have a purpose. Thank You
Very well done, you can stand proud of your accomplishment. I watched the clip several times.
Awesome! To have reached this level in only three years, wow. Really enjoyed the video. Would like to also see a little of your operation.
Great work. Something that will last for family generations to come.
Congratulations on a beautiful project. It’s a great video also but that should be expected when a local TV operation visits. The main thing though is it’s beautiful and we get to see just what three years of work can build.
A great railroad and a superb video. A great reward for three years of hard work. Congratulations Steve.
Am in the middle of creating my first outdoor layout. Great inspiration!
Beautiful work! Certainly well thought out on every level.
Fantastic set-up.
Outstanding! Great planning job with beautiful results.
I like it! Thanks for the clarification between toy trains and model railroading.
Really nice, I have never thought of doing a garden railroad, but this would truly make you want to start. GREAT JOB!
Great video!!! The narrative and editing are especially good. This is such a refreshing change from the un-narrated, unedited, junk that unfortunately fills the garden RR areas of YouTube.

Great Job… I am a few months from laying track and when I see layouts like yours it keeps me going knowing the fun has started and the trains will be running soon.
