Interesting comment about detail, especially coming from an art historian. Very interesting and much underrated degree, that. Anyway, considering the detail work going into every Rapido model it is illuminating to hear from Jason on that aspect of the hobby. There’s a whole thread elsewhere making similar remarks and the counterpoint views of the relevance of more or less detail.
For me the moving train just needs to look right as viewed from scale distances. I’m just not a nose at rail level model railroader. For those that are the details become more important.
