Anti-trust bill aimed at railroads

It is not economic, but political. I suspect the “grain” gang croonies have persuaded these morons in the senate. The AAR croonies will persuade their morons to fight it off.

The US needs free-market capitalism. Morons need to be defeated, ending croonysm through free-market capitalism must happen or the country is doomed to Facism.

Wondering if the negative, skeptical, and outright silly comments would be the same if the committee was made up entirely of Republicans.

Mr. Guze’s comments are the same no matter the story. They’re a poison to those who wish to make actual thoughtful comments.

I’m embarressed to be from Minnesota. It doesn’t seem to matter if they are Republican or Democrat, they don’t understand the importance of free enterprise.

Anti Trust Acts are historically good for the economy, the railroads should play by the same rules. Sorry about disagreeing.

I would like to read the bill, or a summary, before commenting fully. However, important to keep in mind that railroads posess enormous economies of scale that they have, ahem, abused in the past. Our recent experience with the banking industry should show that regulation is needed to keep the captains of industry playing by fair rules. Sorry, but unfortunately many people can’t be trusted to do the right thing. I’m not for strangling regulation by any means, but I’ve developed intense skepticism of large corporation(s). Too big to fail? Too big to exist, then.
