Antique Train & Toy Cleaner

I recently was given an old bottle of Hampton Hobby Products Antique Train & Toy Cleaner (ATTC). Is this product any good? Does it deteriorate over time?

Someone on the O Gauge Forum used it in 2019 and said what was in their old bottle worked fine.

I saw that post too; I was uncertain of the age of that old bottle as relating to the age of my container.

My mom actually suggested testing it on a grubby Hot Wheels car (I used to collect them and now have a few hundred; maybe I should build an S Scale Layout with a car show as a major visual element).

But…
In the meanwhile, I’ve got the Lignite Subdivision filling most of my space.

Good news!
I used the ATTC to clean a Lionel 3461 log car and it worked! I still have to reassemble the log car and fix the one real problem it has (a broken wire to a pickup shoe), but it looks better already. More importantly, it is much more free-rolling!
