Was perusing the latest 1/87 Vehicle Club Photo Gallery (745), one item of which featured a 1/87 MCI G4500 motor coach by a bus station. It looked rather decent in the image (keyword - looked), and the caption stated the manufacturer was Awesome Diecast. So, I took a look at Awesome Diecast’s site, and under Iconic Replicas (I guess it’s a distributor/brand sort of structure, not really sure) they offered several types of MCI 4500 motor coaches…and (coming soon) HO scale New Flyer Xcelsior transit buses! (which is what a certain Canadian company should have working on instead of putting tons of research into a model that was already commercially available - grrr [:(!]).
So people in the know, are the products from this company toy-like junk, or pretty decent models? The price-point seems fairly reasonable to me.

Not familar with Awesome - A competitor - Diecast Direct (which I have purchases from) also has Iconic products - Looks like same price

I don’t have any experience with the manufacturer in question but $30 for an HO-scale bus seems like a reasonable price. Most decent-looking, diecast HO-scale cars and trucks go for $10 and up. A bus is generally 2-3x that size so $30 sounds pretty fair to me. If it were only $15-$20 I might be a little more skeptical on the quality to me.
Good thing you don’t model O-scale. I saw one of those buses go for over $300 - ouch!

I have 2 of Iconic Replicas Greyhound buses. They are well detailed and easy to disassemble to add figures if someone wants to.
I am getting rid of one of them. There is nothing wrong with it. I had accidentally ordered two duplicate numbers.
