ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND AML ALUMINUM FLEX TRACK?

Dear Friends,

I have been spectacularly unsuccessful in finding some six-foot lengths, usually sold in boxes of twelve, of AMS/AML aluminum flex track…usually sells for about $125-$140 a box.

Anybody have a source I don’t know about (I guess it’s obvious I don’t know about it!)?

Thanks.

Try Robby at RLD Hobbies. If anyone can find it, he can.

Greg

The RLD Hobbies web site shows AML Aluminum flex track “out of stock.”

Not flex track, but I make my own using PVC crossties from Train-Li and aluminum rail from SwitchCrafters. But you’ll need a rail bender; the one I use is from Sunset Valley Railroad. Sunset Valley and Llagas Creek both advertise aluminum flex track.

Sorry, was not explicit enough… call on the phone. Talk to Robby personally. He knows the AML people very well.

Sunset Valley has it in code 250.

I have several tubes of aluminum 332 and ?250? rail.

they are 5 or 6 ft long rails.

I was going to hand lay my track and found out how long it would take.

I know I have a lot but right now how many and how much $.

Thanks everybody, I’m seriously look into Sunset Valley and Llagas Creek, and I’m really liking both of them for the price and the looks…plus I don’t think there’s going to be any quality issue with either of these companies.

I might be a few lengths of each and see which I prefer for my purposes. I’ll let you know when I have a chance to do that.

At least I don’t have to be chasing around ams/aml accucraft anymore!
