Anyone use Custom Trax?

Hiya,

I’m looking for anyone’s thoughts on their use of Custom Trax. Did you find that it was a good time/money saver?

As a mainline, if you used it for such, did you like it? What were your feelings on ease of installation?

Did it look good when you were done?

Were you satisfied with the end result?

My initial thoughts are:

1. WOW - looks expensive! At ~$3.23 to ~$3.50 per foot for turns and straights, I can not think of another way that would come close to that much money.

2. If you are seriously considering going with this product you may want to find out how they have joined (integrated) the track with the bed as any repairs certainly bring in the possibility of having to deal with that bond.

3. Unless you are dead on in marking your turns, and even better at making cuts in rails, order extra stock. I personally can not think of an EASY way to mark and cut curved rails with the bed attached. Seems like more precise measuring than I would be up for.

So…You never owned it? Yeah…I can figure this stuff on my own, just looking for someone who has actually used it. Thanks for replying.
