This is a picture of the latest thing I am trying to scratchbuild,
Here is my effort so far,
This has been a bit of a sod to build even though it looks easy.The roof alone consists of 30 pieces of wood.
Power units will be 2 x aristocraft ART 29356 motorized bogies.I had these sent from InternetTrains.Pretty good service from them.
I post the end result later ,over a cup of coffee (bad Troy,slap.)

Ahh Captain,good to hear from you.
All of my models are built from pictures.I have a model LGB figure that used to be sweeping something.I look in the pictures I have to find the ‘scale’ of the people in the picture.Using my ‘figure’ everything is scaled from that.It works quite well.
On my website (on here somewhere),under 159 G scale, I explain my dis-interest in the rivet counters.
This current model is for my Dad,which makes it quite hard work for me.
In March He has been invited to the tram museum to see his restored tram run for the first time in 20 years.He has suggested taking the model trams up there to display.
EEEEK.(We are talking expert tram and train restorers)
His answer to my concerns is how many G scale tram modellers are out there.
This is what worries me!!!

WOW! You do a wonderful job on those from building to painting. I’d be hard pressed to think that was wood from the picture. I’m wondering since these look as if they are made to go either direction, are half the seats facing opposite directions or ar they like the San Francisco street cars where they get to the non turn around end and walk thru and flip all the seats to face the other direction?

The conductor flips the seats at the end of the run.
The worst thing about these things is that they have to look identical from each end.May sound easy but it’s not.
The best thing is that these things run alone.
No consists to worry about.

Way cool. Have you shared this on MLS? There are couple of guys who are trolley fans over there.
Almost looks like the Seattle Waterfront except no Alaskan Way Viaduct behind it.
We have these old Oz cars painted the same colors.
They pull them with dog teams.
