At Last, my WP f3s are here.

This has been a long …long… long…wait for these two Intermountain F3s. I will get a F7 later for the three unit consist, (so much for a fixed income and remodeling my house) but for now it brings back a lot of memorys working on these units. I was very impressed with the detail and it seems to run great, good low speeds and looks great pulling my CZ, I dont know if I have the heart to weather this one.LOL…John.

I don’t have room for them, I already have several WP F units, and they’re too expensive.

I can’t wait to get a pair.

How much did those cost you?

The…A unit $76 and the B was $71, both are powered. The “shell only” was 79.99 at my local hobby shop with no drive unit. of which I believe has been on his shelf a few years…John

Jwar, check out Railfan & Railroad magazine April 2005 page49 for pictures up on the Highline, Indian Valley just north of Crescent Mills, showing heavy tonnage with 6 units on the front and another 6 units midtrain! And that’s for 2.25% ruling grade! Head end is ABBABA and the mid-train set is ABBBBA. That’s a whole lot of B’s…Hmmmm… dummies with sound? jc5729
