Is it possible to buy replacement screws for their electrical components. I am in the middle of a large rewiring project and these screws have a habit of disappearing when they fall to the floor and I am now in the need for replacements. I looked on the Atlas website and didn’t see them offered. Is their a suitable replacement for these.
I’d call up Atlas (after Christmas) at 908-687-0880 and ask them. I’ve called 2-3 times about various subjects and been well treated.

I discovered a source for these in an unusual place. I was rummaging through one of my junk drawers looking for something else and discovered 5 Atlas Selectors from my old DC layout. I knew that my current DCC layout would not need block wiring but being the good packrat that I am, I didn’t throw these out. Most of them have 6 of the Atlas screws that I need although a few were missing one. These are so old that not only are they slot head screws rather than the Phillips heads Atlas now makes, but they are brass rather than nickel silver. I began my old layout around 1980 and I had forgotten that Atlas components used to be made of brass rather than nickel silver. The important thing is, they still fit the current Atlas products. If I don’t drop too many on the floor, I should have enough to complete rewiring my Atlas undermount turnouts without having to locate new screws.
You should be able to get them at an ACE or TrueValue hardware store, they both have large assortments of srews, just show the sales person what you need and they should be able to match it up.
