Atlas selctor screw diameter?

Someone kindly gave me an Atlas selector (#215), but most of the screws are missing. The 2-56 screw slide through, so I thought to ask here.

To avoid confusion, here is what it looks like (some of the missing screws are at the top and sides): http://web4.hobbylinc.com/gr/atl/atl215.jpg

Thanks!

Ya know, for some reason, I have the impression they are 3-48 screws. Next size up is 4-40.

If they’re 3-48, they’re a bit hard to find. If you don’t have a good hardware store nearby, here’s some:

They are 3-48 :

Most of the Atlas turnouts I have gotten, come with a little package of nuts, bolts and screws. Some of them are the same sizeu are looking for. If you kept the ones that came with them, you should have a scource.

Good luck,

Richard

It may depend on when and where the switch was made. Recent Asian made machines may use metric screws. Leastwise this is the case with a lot of computer equipment we have been getting.

Brillant with ebay! I might also call Atlas and ask.

Thanks all!
