AWVR Locomotive

Hello everyone, I am thinking about having an HO locomotive painted for the AWVR from the movie Unstoppable. I want to either do 777 which is an AC4400 or a roadnumber I came up with, 7799 which would be an ES44. I would like your opinions on this. I cant decide between the two. I’ve already found some websites with 9751 the AC4400 which has the striped plow, and I’ve found some sites with a Canaadian Pacific GEVO. Remember I want YOUR opinions on which one to do since i am stuck on a decision. [:S]

Thanks,

Brandon [swg]

Do whatever you want.

After seeing the movie, I made a sketch of an SD80MAC dressed in AWVR colors, and numbered it 5589. I also considered an EMD SD70ACe dressed in an Operation Lifesaver scheme numbered 8112. However, to avoid any potential copyright situations, I would go with the ES44.

If there was any copyright issue (there isn’t), that wouldn’t avoid it anyhow. The colors and design is whats protected, not the locomotive model.

Hey thanks guys but keep the opinions comin. I am kinda leaning towards the ES44. I have some AWVR ES44’s from an add-on website for Trainz Railway Simulator and the paint looks nice on the GEVO’s body. Thanks anyway!
