Up in here in the Pacific Northwest, a friend sponsors an annual slideshow. I’d run out of ideas for this year’s show. The recent passing of Richard Steinheimer and appreciate thoughts of Ansel Adams work, inspired me to do a show of Black and White photos.

A few turned out very nice and I thought I’d share them with a wider audience.

Superb! Excellent use of light & shadow and a great composition.

Nothing beats B&W. The likes of Phillip R. Hastings and his contemporaries will probably never be seen again.
