cool train set

This is a wonderful setup, and digital control at that.
I bought two of the older Bachmann CNR DC sets
running on DC, I converted them to digital, and sure have had a lot of service and fun with them.
They make a good product.

Great DCC System

Having been in model railing for over 25 years I have a fair sized layout. I purchased the Bachman DCC system which works fine for my class J with an MRC sound decoder. Be aware that not all functions are avaiable wit this liomited system, however it is such a simple way to get started in DCC that I strongly recommend it to beginners. I also like the fact that you can run one DC engine with this system which means my nondecoder engines don’t have to wait until I have the money for converting them. God Bless and Happy New Year

The video and the comments have sold me !

the set is really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really net eventhough i dont have it

I use this system to run my layout and it works GREAT!

A good starter system indeed, but it does not take long for an operator to experience the limitations of of an entry level DCC system. If you have “grand plans” for a large scale pike, you would do well to consider a more advanced system.

bachmann sure has a good product in this one. i run bachmann trains and there dcc system on my layout.everything works great together.

Yes! I bought the set as an easy way to return to model railroading. Only after investigating the DCC concept, was I sold. 'Specily after finding that you could run mutiple locos on the same track. Now here comes the “BUT”; the Bachmann controler has a few things that, after reading about other manufactures similar devices, I went with NCE Power Pro. Just do your own homework, and you will decide likewise. Happy MRRing.

After devoting most of my adult life to racing, and just getting back into the hobby, all the vidios MR has to offer have been extremely helpful in learning all that has changed in 40+ years.

looking forward to buying this set to start my next model rr

looks to be fun i love my rail roads modeling i enjoy my mmr magazine can not get it fast enough. i am going to find out this thk u crt

This was my starter set…only took about a month for me to “graduate” to the NCE Power Cab. This set set me back about $260 but in the 5 months since purchase, I’ve spent well over $1700 ($1000 just in locomotives). Once you go DCC and see all the available features out there…you just want it all!! I have to restrain myself from spending and limit myself to one or two trips to the hobbie shop a month (just put this restriction on myself this month)…LOL

Looks like a great set! I think it will be a fantastic choice for my first DCC experience.
