I thought this was a cute little loco and it is in good, working condition.
I must admit, I was almost tempted - but it was still nice to see and since it is labeled ’ A Collectors Item’, hopefully it will find a good home.

One would think that Bachmann might stock a suitable Bissel truck as a spare part that would fit, even if not catalogued as a ‘Bradford’-specific part number. If Bradford Exchange has a customer-service e-mail address that gets answered, they might have a way to get parts.
Not sure that with the wheel wear I see the typical “collector value” of this engine without truck, tender, or car(s) would be too high.
They have made tens of thousands of those in all kinds of paint from prototypical Colorado schemes through just about every kind of brand name you can think of-- Coca Cola, Budweiser–and then other specialty schemes, like Kinkade and Civil War, etc. My wife has one,–an early run–and it is a good little engine.
I suspect a pilot and pilot truck can be had from the Bachmann parts dept. Tenders turn up on eBay frequently. Good running examples have gotten a little pricey, so it might be worth it to pick this one up.
Hi, thank you for your reply, it is interesting.
One thing I forgot to mention is that I am in the UK, but I’m sure there must be On30 modelers here who will know where source parts.
I must admit, I would love to fix it up, but I’ve brought enough on myself with all my Athearn B/Box stuff.

Bachmann did many versions of On30 engines with this wheel arrangement. I have two, and one is much better in terms of quality. I would not assume that ANY pilot wheels of their On30 line would fit. Some adjustments may be required.
