I just purchased a Bachmann HO turntable. I connected the Bachmann DC controller to it and the bridge track turned to the next track position from a mid point between the tracks. I tried to move the bridge track to the next track and it would not move however I heard the motor turning. Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the turntable?
thanks,
Bob in McLean
I don’t have one of these, but it sounds like something is wrong. Have you tried contacting Bachmann, or posting the question on their web site?
NO! NO! nothing may be wrong with your Bmann TT!
There is an “indexing” {? not sure if that is the right term} spot delay before it moves on to the next track location.
Let it "spin its wheels’ a while and it WILL eventually move to the next location.
It takes about, oh 1 minute or so delay while the motor hums along before it actually moves between line-ups.
If you have hooked it up correctly to the Bmann diagram for doing so, then the only problem you have is some impatience!

Thanks for your input - you saved the day!!
The turntable works just fine and I will be keeping (not returning it.)
thanks again for your time and help !!!
