Bachmann N Scale 4-8-4 CB&Q Upgrade

I would like to upgrade a Bachmann N Scale CB&Q 4-8-4. I would like to replace its open frame motor with a can motor preferably a canon dc micro motor. Is this possible? What else could I try?

I stumbled across this when I was looking at possibly remotoring my N scale Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0;

This chap sells coreless motors with a kit for a cradle that will hold them in place of the original Bachmann motor.
