Bachmann Non-proprietary Plug-and-Play Electronics Socket
Good for Bachmann for making it available for all. I would love to see a standard socket across the entire industry, as it would greatly increase sales of sound systems. It would also be really great to get a standard knuckle coupler. Since there are only six major manufacturers they should all get together and come up with the standard. This should be done with or without the NMRA. A standard socket would hurt the installers of aftermarket products, but greatly increase sales of aftermarket products. It is way overdue!!! Since I have no experience with the product I have not rated it.
