Look’s like it belongs on any RR with a Yard and a stub track to park it on. This could be the starting point to try battery and R/C with a trailer. This may be my next Engin.
A quick clarification…
“…You can also directly replace the couplers with Kadee #830 (G-scale) couplers. …”
You do need to slightly modify the coupler by sanding off a small tab on the bottom of the Kadee #830 coupler to get it to fit through the front of the frame, but once you do that, it fits very easily. (There’s a little tab on the back end which you may want to remove as well, which will help with centering.)

It looks like a pretty good engine; videos of a product in action are the best “salesmen.” Why not add a few cars behind it; the total effect will be much greater, both running fast and at slowest speeds.

Finally saw these little jewels at a hobby shop , beautiful little locos , and on impulse bought 2 of them .
The layout is track powered and was still covered with leaves and the weather had just warmed up a bit and the snow was gone , so with Winter leaving , I wanted to clear and clean the rails and placed the 2 new Davenports and 2 AC trackcleaning cars on the track and started plowing leaves and cleaning the rails …
the Bmann Davenports really opeated very well , I was impressed with their operation on dirty rail . So far , for me here , they are really good operating locos that also look good .
