Has anyone had experience withBackdrop Warehouse? I thought I was getting pretty good with the computer, but really having a hard time navigating the site. Just lookong for some fall trees 10" high or so. Too many pages/ options. Very confusing to me. Jerry

I would check out www.sceniking.com as well. I believe they have fall trees and I think their prices are better than what I remember from Backdrop Warehouse. I have four of their series on my layout and a few more that I will add later.

Very confusing to me too. Click on some of the links and suddenly you are at a completely different place. A couple years ago I had an order all figured out, but didn’t have my bank card. So I came back with it a few days later, and couldn’t figure out my order again. I’ve never figured out their pricing either, or should I say it seems to change everytime I log in. Then there are the sales and blemished list. They have stuff on that list that sold two years ago… why? Seems silly. Anyway I believe the confusing site is one reason I’ve yet to purchase my backdrops.

Yes thier prices are better & they have something I could use but…when I checked the 3 pages of most asked questions I found that they were printed on standard size parer, which means lots of seams. You generally get a few corners that refuse to stick & thus ruins the whole effect. IMHO Jerry Thanks just the same

I plan on using Sceniking’s backdrops against a blue sky wall that’s going to have clouds painted using Jeff Wimberly’s techniques. [;)][tup].

The lengths’s of most of the sceniking’s backdrops seem pretty decent, however they’re not very tall…but do they really need to be?

As for quality, the resolution is relatively low as compared to current digital photography standards but I have found that on a backdrop, that is not an issue. At normal viewing distance, the low resolution is not apparent. Also, most of the backdrops appear to be digital photos but others seem to have been pieced together with a graphics program using cut and paste techniques. Again, this is not something that is obvious on a backdrop. Another advantage is that you can easily photocopy each sheet and then cut individual elements and layer them on other backdrops. I find layering of backdrops is a very effective way to create the illusion of depth.

I had not been to that site in a while so I revisited it. While I like their products, frankly their site is a nightmare.

On Backdrop Warehouse, I went to HELP first which explains how to assemble your order or find what you need. backdropwarehouse Price is based on size. They have many 1000s of choices for many scales. They also have low cost backdrops like ezscenes.com and others. Hope this helps.
