does anyone know where I can find one that’s 4’ x 4’? I tried Scenic Express and some other sites, but I could only find ones that are either too long, or too small.
I don’t want to wind up getting 2 and cutting one of them.
Wow, 4 feet tall? I don’t know of any canned backdrops that tall.
You could paint a 4’ x 4’ piece of foam core blue, then get a backdrop that’s 4 feet wide and cut out along the buildings or mountains and glue it on the bottom of the foam core – sort of “roll your own” backdrop.
That’s what I would recommend.
Backdrop warehouse now has them as high as 42" but they aren’t cheap.
You can take your own pictures and blow them up with the “Huge Picture” program. The results are fair, and the cost depends on your printer costs and the cost of the photo paper you use. I have tried this a few times with some success. I plan to bring some pics home from my train trip to seattle, to see if I can do any better. The biggest advantage is you can customise the backdrop anyway you please.
