Sierra Pacific Industries has announced it is closing is Sonora, CA mill. Looking at satellite photographs, this mill and a mill at Chinese Camp appear to be the only customers on Sierra Northern’s former Sierra Railroad tracks. The mill at Sonora appears to be slightly larger.
