Big Boy 4014 has returned to California!
For everyone who wasn’t able to make it out yesterday, here is some footage of the chase across the Mojave Desert. What a magical experience it was, truly something to never forget.

It sure looks a lot better out on the 'road than it did in that park, doesn’t it?
What a difference it is from when it was stored at the fairgrounds. I couldn’t believe my eyes, a modern day marvel for sure.

This weekend it will travel over Cajon Pass to Barstow and back for museum excursions; beware of insane chase traffic …
Next Tuesday it will depart east on the Yuma sub.
