Black Canyon Railroad (Club Website)

Hi everyone, just thought I’d share our clubs website with my fellow model railroaders:

The website is brand new so we are still working on giving it a “finished” look but there are alot of great pictures of the layout. We are currently in the process of negotiating a bigger space to move the layout into and expand.

Be especially sure to click on the history link http://bcrraz.net/history.html and see the how Harold constructed this layout.

I REALLY like the stations. You might want to rework the way the photos load, they lagged fro me a bit on DSL, so there could be problems for other connectors. Is there a particular era?

Hi Morgan,

Thanks for the feedback and the compliment.

The era is the early 50’s.

Very good overall. I had some problems with slow loading as well and I’m on a cable modem.

stunning layout, thank you for sharing with us.

Great layout, pictures loaded quickly for me. [:D]

There was one other thing I wanted to see: Trains. But those can come later.

[bow][bow]That’s some fantastic work! I love the Jonah junction shot of the back of the buildings over looking the cliff. The electric meter lines and down spouts area real nice touch!

Thanks for the compliment on Jonah Junction, hope you enjoyed the other areas as well. Keep in mind that this layout has been “completed” for quite some time now. Harold is anxious for us to move to a bigger location so he can build again. We (the rest of the club members) are anxious as well so we can learn from his expertise when we start building new parts of the layout.

I believe that we are in the process of taking some new pictures, so check back periodically.

This is my favorite picture…

And once again thanks for the compliments!!!
