Nice to see the shortlines getting in on the action doing bypass around Obama’s pipeline fiasco. But if Obama gets re-elected, look for big government to create all kinds of legal roadblocks to stop the private sector’s moving oil by rail, including making the transporation of oil very unprofitable. Of course, much of this will be done by the EPA with the environ-mentalists creating all kinds of fake science to back it up.

Hopefully, such growth will allow the middle portion of the CAGY to be put back in service.

Yes, the railroads continue to provide a useful service and, as a retired short-line employee, it is indeed nice to see the little guys get part of that action.
