see this is the kinda thing that makes you realize their are kind people out there who will go outta their way to do something nice for someone no matter how small or silly it may seem
As a past Fire Chief, I can tell you that some may find this trivial. But to the people involved the horror is real and the rescuer is a hero. It demonstrates to evereone that the organization (and humans in general) really do care… and that message is important to all of us.
There really are good people left in the world. Many of them are railroaders.
Bravo! It’s nice to see people still have hearts.
Yes there are really good people out there.
Where in JP is the green line running? It can t go beyond Heath Street
It would be nice if the media would report things like this more often instead of latching onto something negative and drag another person into the mud.
Very nice.
Heartwarming! It’s nice that MBTA “brakes for animals,” especially this little cutie’s cutie. I’m reminded of a long-ago story about a freight train crew out West that regularly made an unscheduled stop to fill a watering trough for local wildlife - live critters in that case.
Mostly I’ve had good luck with railroaders. There are good people out there you don’t hear about them as often as you hear about the guys who step in front of the trains get attention. Nice someone helped someone out.
Many more good rails out there than crabs. Yes too bad not more of good stories would make the news but unless things have changed since the 50’s and 60’s some yahoo official would probably want to hand out brownie points to the crew for creating a minute or two delay(not all but some official were goofs).

Now folks…this is positive news reporting! Let’s hear more of this enough of the negatives and bad guys!
