Broadway Limited HO scale AC6000CW diesel is a big-time hauler
I purchased the DCC version with sound for my layout to model the C&NW after it took over the UP (this locomotive will get a patch job). The locomotive is very smooth, sound is nice and loud, but a bit scratchy at high volume (which is okay since I don’t operate that loud). Detail is good, but I think Broadway could have done better for the price.
I agree with the above. Incandecsant lights would be nice, the white LEDs just don’t flatter the model. Its pretty good otherwise, definitely worth it for those who want big power.
Also, the article says UP was the only one to get the “convertibles”, but CSX has some to (or atleast, they downgraded theirs from 6000 horsepower for some reason).
