They’d be nice on 42d Street in NYC.

Brookville may be the most innovative railway builder in the world today. Way to go, Brookville.

Somebody spiked DART’s Lone Stars with smart pills.

Gen-Sets—big-rig truck engined locomotives. And now, street cars with batteries for trolley wires.

What’s next?

Isn’t this amazing; Even the Reddest of the Red States are getting wise about public transportation. Doofuses like Goosie should take note but I think Jeffy is much too STOOPID.

Battery powered streetcars. Sounds like something from an old Street Railway Journal. I wonder if they discussed something similar to resume Galveston’s no trolley wire system’s service?

Bombardier has a completely wireless tram system already available on the market. By using switched-block induction coils buried under the pavement, Bombardier’s Primove system can be used not only to replace catenary for tram, but also to provide quick charges to battery-powered buses and other electric vehicles. By fitting trams with batteries, Primove coils only need to be installed at station stops and not along the entire length of the line. The technology has been extensively tested since 2010 in Augsburg, Germany to great success. http://primove.bombardier.com/
