Does one need to know the secret handshake to be informed?
I’ve seen that information for several weeks in quite a few comments by the staff running the forum.

Closing, yes.
But I don’t remember seeing a specific date.
I don’t have time to look through the forum, but one place I remember seeing the date was in Mark’s threads on his Wyoming layout. He questioned about some of his old thread that did not get moved. The staff mentioned there that January 15 was the last day the old forum could be accessed.

At first, it was mentioned as “mid-January”, but more recently, the January 15th date has been used.
