I had not thought of that. I will look into it. How were you going to hook it all together?
Haven’t worked out the details yet, but the saw mechanism and battery will be mounted under the floor of the mill with the blade pointing upward. It should produce some nice sawdust when operated.
Are you talking about a 3" round saw, or the rectangle kind?

I am talking about a small battery operated circular saw, it can hold a 3 or 4" blade used primarily for pieces of wood no thicker than 1". Haven’t figured out how to connect it all together operationally, still looking for some plans/source material for the building itself.
Good luck. It will be interesting to hear how it all turn’s out. Keep me informed on what you end up using, as it sounds like a good idea.
