Buisness owned vs. Heritage schemed excoursion coaches question

One of the things I want to do down the road in a layout is a buisness called Northern Enterprises which works in the fields of reworking old railcars. This would be more modern, say 80s and 90s, somewhat into today. As an offshoot, one of their services would be a coach pool for steam special trains. But one of the things I’m wondering, is would all or more of these cars be in one of their original schemes, or would they go into a Northern Enterprises scheme, or just be relettered for NE and left in their earlier scheme?

If you were a railfan on one of these trips, would it matter to you how the car was painted, whether it was in it’s Golden Age of Passenger livery or painted for some unknown company helpting to sponsor the thing?

It would be based upon the customers preferences. In all likelyhood, you would have a mixture of cars for Nothern Enterprises and Heritage schemes. A good reference would the AARPCO’s website.

Who’s AARPCO? All I;m getting is the Old Farts Unanimous AARP.

Sorry about that Flashwave. AAPRCO is the American Association of Private Railcar Owners. I am moodeling a private car that will run on Amtrak trains. I’m also modeling a former ATSF Pullman 44 seat chair car that Amtrak sold and was purchased by a private owner, rebuilt then purchased by the ATSF/BNSF for use in their business fleet.
