Cab Forward car consist

Hi,have anyone recommendations,which cars real for a typical train with a Cab Forward?

I have an older BLI and want to buy a M.T.H.,but which cars-types are real or the best for them?

Not sure of your question but anything in service in 1956 and before could have been pulled by an Cab Forward. I have even seen pictures of them at the head of a passenger train.

Their most famous use was hauling PFE 40’ reefers up over Donner Pass with one on the front and one pushing. So a train full of PFE reefers from Athearn, Tichy or Intermountain would be appropriate.
