BTW - I am working on my new layout based on the WEST SIDE LINES of the SP from Fresno to Kerman and really need some pics from route if anyone has any. Also any data anyone can find, I am hitting a stone wall on this one. Doing prototypical research from present and hoping I can nail the past using the LDE concept.
Hey Chuck , thanks for the link , didn’t know it existed, registered and cruised around a bit. Great resource for us SP freaks. Looks like I’ll be over there quite a bit. Can’t help with pixs, Off in PA. for 39 years now , I model the Lordsburg sub in New Mexico (very loosely I’ll admit). Just went DCC finally, waiting for a bunch of decoders from Tony’s right now. Did those little decals I sent help you at all ?
Do we SP fans really need another SP website? Redundancy in websites makes my life more complicated than I want. I like the Espee site http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/Espee/ because people with great knowledge like Joe Strapac (on locomotives) and Tony Thompson (on freight cars) are there to answer questions, as well as countless others.
