Need to send a new loco back for warranty repair.
Brand new Copper Range docksider stops when going through Fastrack manual switches.
My other docksiders do not have this problem.

Of course you are welcome here, but however, you might have more success with an answer to that problem over on the “Classic Toy Trains” forum, which can be linked too by their button at the top of this page. That is assuming that you are not talking HO gauge.

I agree with Johnboy, look over on the “Classic Toy Trains” Forum. We are scale modelers here, and so we can help you with electrical problems, scenery ideas, and operational aspects, and stuff of the sort. The Classic Toy Trains guys are mostly collectors, and can tell you how to refurbish old models, where to look for collectables, and Lionel Repair centers. Where are you located in NEPA? I’ve had some good and bad experiences with a few shops and I might be able to help you, just need to know where you are and how far you’re willing to drive!

I live about 45 minutes North of Scranton.
R&R Hobbies in Bloomsburg, PA is pretty much the nearest authorized repair station according to Lionel.com.
The loco came from an authorized dealer in Ohio but he’s only an “Authorized Service Station DROP OFF”. Whatever that is.
I talked to R&R the owner said that he is indeed an authorized repair station.
Since this is the first loco I have had to return (it’s under warranty), I don’t have any experience with the quality of repair stations.
I plan to mail the loco to R&R. Too far to drive just for that.

Not sure if you mean Strasburg, and he’s really far away from there. You are probably also not too far from Gryzboski’s in Scranton and The Train Shoppe in Wilkes-Barre. Haven’t had any experience with Gryzboski, and the guys at the TS are really nice to deal with, just not sure how well they know their repairs. I brought in a powtwar engine with a sticky e-unit, paid $90 when it was “done” and came home with an engine with a sticky e-unit. Fryer’s in Orwigsburg and Ellie’s Lokie Shop in Mahanoy City are both good, but they’re in Schuylkill County, and it sounds like you’re in Susquehanna, pretty far for you to drive.
One other shop that is near NE PA is the Train Station in Mountain Lakes, NJ. Here’s their link:
