Canadian authorities arrest two in rail terror plot

From the various comments in the news today, it sounds like they wanted to detonate a bomb that would cause the Maple Leaf to derail while is was crossing the Rainbow bridge between Niagara Falls Ont. and Niagara Falls NY, plunging into the gorge.

To STEPHEN GOODMAN:
Oronto is about 23 Km west of Absentia and 18.7 Km north of Cognoto. Almbach has a ranch there where they classify all the maps and photos they don’t ublish in EWS IRE!

Who’s to say there isn’t graffiti on the underside of an airliner? Last time I flew, we went in through a door right behind the cockpit, connected to the terminal by the Jetway. Who’s to say what was underneath the bird??? Good point, though.

Kudos to the RCMP! Glad to see that the gendarmes are ever vigil… “maintiens le droit”

Oh great! Here comes the lockdown…

I wonder if this will be used as an excuse to harass rail enthusiasts who should be employed as additional sets of eyes instead.

Where is Oronto? Trains start proofreading.

I’ll bet Goosie would love to see an Amtrak train bombed.

I believe this train to be the Maple Leaf which is an Amtrak Train with Amtrak equipment, operated by VIA crews to Niagara Falls where Amtrak crews take over.

The magnitude of graffiti vandalism on the rails is an “advertisement” conveying little if any security.

Imagine boarding your plane with graffiti scrawled all along the under belly.

Great, I will now expect more police harassment while LEGALLY taking pictures of and watching trains.

Good job security, now what? Taxpayer paid lawyers, yrs of litigation, appeals, long sentences then paroled for “good Behavior”. Hey don’t dare deny them their constitutional rights of illegal search, privacy rights, cruel & unusual punishment and the list goes on. They planned mayhem on innocent citzens of 2 countries. The battle should be who gets to waterboard them then throw them off the same bridge.
