I was just wondering if anyone here knew the number of frieght trains between Calgary and Saskatoon. I was under the impression there up to 3 trains per day between the two points, one was a general frieght, one was a container plus the odd grain train.
I used to spot the odd train between Saskatoon and Rosetown and it was always a combination of containers and general frieght.
I was in Hanna about 3 years ago and noticed a set of tracks turning north at the west end of Hanna. Does anyone know where this line went and what kind of rolling stock was involved?
