Canadian Pacific derails in Minnesota, spills crude oil
In the news reports on the oil pipeline break in Arkansas they also mentioned this train derailment. The Exxon pipeline people mentioned the spillage of 15,000 gallons and then switched to the oil pipeline break stating that only 12,000 barrels had leaked. The casual reader would think the train derailment was worse unless they realized that the 12,000 barrels of oil is actually 660,000 gallons of oil.
