Casting bridge supports

Hello all,

I have some old Aurora slot car, bridge supports, that I intend to cast either plaster or resin.

I need them for the track that goes to high line next to the blast furnace. For long term use and more forgiveing…plaster or resin ?

I’m thinking resin. Have I already answered,my own question?

I’ve made latex molds, and cast a number of things in Hydrocal using both my own molds and store-bought ones. One thing I really like about Hydrocal castings is the easy way they take paint, and the nice texture that comes out. I’ve never worked with resin, but I’d imagine that Hydrocal is much easier to make look “stone-like” with minimal effort.

I too want to do this
