First day of winter today. Guessers say Mother Nature is going to warm us up. Friend took I 135 from North Baltimore to Chicago yesterday. Not sure what train he gets to bring back. Going to go check on brother today. Safe travels and have a Merry Christmas.

After checking on brother I went to Deshler. Csx decided to send M 507 the Fostoria(C&O) way instead of the “bates”(B&O) way. Here they are turning to go south in Deshler.

Rainy and foggy today. Had an appointment in Toledo. Was able to find a Lake States Unit in the former C&O yard in Walbridge. Thunderstorms Sunday???

Got new glasses today. Had time to check a few things around Defiance. The NDW was able to put 20 cars together and go across the diamond. They also switched out a fertilizer plant west of town. The csx local had a former WM gp 40 for power today. CSX I 010 had the B&O heritage unit on the point as well. Guessers say some more snow for new years. Need to go give hugs.

Csx had a derailment in Kentucky. Going to be a UPS(X026) train maybe others around the Sw wye to go to Chicago today. Driveway and porch cleaned off for now.Have a safe and Happy New Year.

Checked things out on New Years Day.Just another day on the railroad. Here is NS L096 waiting for his conductor to go back on the wabash to east wayne yard in New Haven Indiana. Been hearing some new symbols on the scanner. Going to check stuff out.

Evening
Went over to Deshler. Met some old friends and made new friends. M 561 Turned the corner to go south. On the back there was a brand new rail train set up.
Also got word that csx is laying off at some terminals.They need all the help they can get with as many extra crews I have heard called for trains lately.

Hey everyone,
It’s mostly been rainy here in California. We’ve had lots of rain and even flooding here in the Bay. Anyways, I managed to catch Amtrak Capitol Corrider train 541, Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) train 02, and a Union Pacific intermodal, IOANP-5, who gave me a nice horn salute.

My new printer has been printing almost every day since I got it, especially after realizing I can make Catenary Poles for 7.5 cents a piece

what type of paper are you using?
I think that Bigguy511’s referring to a 3D printer, so that would mean some kind of plastic or possibly resin, most likely PLA.
I am a bonehead. 
At the moment, I feel like a bonehead myself (mostly due to a bunch of incidents at work).

Nice! I’ve also got plans to design and print a Transfer Table, Gantry Crane, and the main building for my layout
Excellent–one of my long term plans is to make a gantry for my layout, but I want to make it operable… that’s gonna be fun…
