There is a period missing between railpictures and net. Cut and paste the entire line into your address line and add that period and you’ll get the link. BNSF Railfan can fix it in his original post.

I’ve seen steam engine photos, working hard, that were throwing less smoke…

shows what happens when you blow a turbo also more fuel than air in the engine makes me homesick and missing the steam engines doing the same thing.

What do you expect. It’s a toaster. Bill Gates builds on “NT Technology”, GE builds on “ALCO Technology”.

When Baldwin’s turbos failed, even at idle, they put out a black cloud. They had “turbo boost” even at idle!
