Back when the suggested retail of Lionel’s O-gauge Polar Express set was $299.95 I saw a Christmastime Macy’s ad for it: “25% Off! Reg. 399.95 now only $299.95!” To me this was deceptive marketeering.

Lionel’s web. site has limited items for sale on the inter-net., I believe they sell a small quantity of trains, as well, as other items.
