Hey everyone!

I’m looking for, or am interested in starting, and HO gauge model railroad club in the Cincinnati, Ohio area (Mason/North)… There’s an O gauge club and an N gauge club that I have found, but no HO gauge club…

Anyone know of an HO club or perhaps also interested in starting something?

I’m in Oxford and we have S Gaugers here. If you get anything going, let me know. I could make it down there occassionally after rush hour.

Theres a modular group I think.I know of nothing as far as a club gos.I know one fella who runs once a month in Monroe.I would like to find a club also.I live in Middletown.I model late Chessie/Seaboard and CSX.Dan

Middletown isn’t far at all from Mason. If we could pull a small (or large, who knows) group of people from West Chester, Monroe, Middletown, Mason, that would be a great area…

My dad and I are modeling the Milwaukee Road in the Wisconsin area.

It’ll be interesting to see how many others from our area chime in and are interested in getting together.

I know the man in Monroe has a huge UP layout.Mine is still in the track and plywood stages.We could maybe put something at Davis Electronics on thier bulletin board with thier permission.Davis is probably the best train store in our area.What era are you modeling?Mine will be Chessie and Seaboard from 1984-1986 and CSX to the present day.Dan

We’re over at Davis all the time, so that may not be a bad idea. We’ve spent enough money over there, so maybe they’d let us put something up on their board.

We’re modeling up to 1970, going back mainly to 1945-50 or so.

We’ve built several layouts in the past, but the layout we’re working on right now is our first in 25 years that is designed to be permanent. At this point, we’re just starting to build our scenery and placing buildings.

I’m glad to see that you and the Monroe guy are doing something totally different than we are, actually… I think all of that diversity would be a great asset to a MRR club and make things much more interesting.

I should be at Davis Monday and Ill ask Tom or Lawrence if that would be ok.I was modeling Penn Central but decided to sell that stuff off and get more Chessie,CSX and Seaboard stuff.Dan
