Claude Rains....Are You There?

Kind of interesting…

I sign in,check out “Who is on line”,not me! Then, about ten minutes later,Poof!,there I am. A few minutes after that,Poof!, I’m gone again.

I pledge to use these powers only for good.

Mike (Still in Denver,Co Poof! or not…)

I don’t think it is working right. I only found myself on-line once out of over a half dozen times and that time I was gone in less than a minute[*-)].

I wonder how many people caught the “Invisible Man” reference… If you remember Claude Rains in that role, you’re probably older 'n dirt. I know I AM! Frankly, I don’t understand why you’d be checking to see if you’re online; reminds me of ringing your doorbell to see if you’re home. But, maybe that’s just me. [swg]

I discovered that phenomenon, too, Mike. Weird. Sometimes I’m there; sometimes I’m not. Perhaps that’s just confirming that I’m not all there. [swg]

In the users on line box to the right shows 12 users on line, when I click the see all, only 9 show up.

Whats with that?

When I think of Claude Raines, Marlon, I think of two roles: Invisible Man and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. He also starred in a 40s version of the Phantom of the Opera. And, no - I’m NOT “older 'n dirt”. [:D]

Tom: I’m not “older n dirt” either, but maybe my mind’s already going…I’d forgotten all about “Mr. Smith”.

And Marlon - I never ring the bell. I always knock loudly,'cause if I’m in the basement I can’t hear the bell…

Mike,

Yea, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington is a very good Capra movie. As relevant today as it was back then. Not much different either. [%-)]

Lotsa’ folks out exploring this new world. I have been so focused on the forums I haven’t roamed much outside left and right of them! This post alerted me to the little icons of who is actually signed in currently. I know this feature was always at the top of my wish list here.

No body mentioned Casablanca! Of course Raines was a supporting role in that.

I just look and feel older n’ dirt

Richard

'Looks like they’ve fixed it. Sorry,Claude, you’re outta here!

And everyone’s over-looking his GREATEST role: Prince John in the 1938 classic The Adventures of Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn
