Can anyone supply information regarding the 1100 foot house/grain track being a spur or did it have a east switch connecting it with main?
Sanborn maps exist for the townsite and clearly show the west switches with the house, main and grain spur located south of the main line in complete detail, but no coverage of the house track as it proceeds east.
This house track served the station and three grain elevators. The Kentucky House branch was torn up years ago. Any leads or suggestions appreciated.

Sorry, the topo maps in my possession show no spur at all at Clements. Nearest turnouts are in Lockeford where a double-ended siding is shown.
Markpierce, I’m going to model it as a spur for lack of any additional facts. Interesting, my Sandborn maps show no siding at Lockeford.

There are also 3 single-ended spurs at the west end of Lockeford, two of which disappear into a long rectangular structure. Not sure what industries they served, but nearby are a winery and settling ponds. Will send you a copy of the map if you send me your snail mail address. I have an email address in the forum posting if you wi***o send your address directly to me without notifying the rest of the world.
