I am trying to locate some of CM Shops’ sand loads for the athearn 50 foot fishbelly gondolas. I check online at Walthers only to find out that they do not carry the sand loads. Does anyone know if CM Shops has a street address i could contact them?
The 2008 Walthers HO scale catalog has the CM Shops sand loads for Athearn 50 foot gondola listed as Walthers catalog number 12-3113, priced at $4.50 per 2 pack, but their web site says they are not in stock and availability is unknown.
Another section of Walthers web site says that CM Shops is located in Newfoundland, New Jersey, but gives no address.
Google doesn’t turn up an address for CM Shops.
The package label on their products shows their address as P O Box 49, Newfoundland NJ 07435. Try contacting Model Railway Post Office, a train shop in Hewitt NJ. The CM Shops loads are excellent. I bought 40 loads for my BN Coal unit train. I ordered directly and bought all the loads at once. I had them just wrap the loads in newspaper instead of packaging them.
Buying a large number of loads i was able to get a better price than through a shop.
I think CM Shops is in Newfoundland new Jersey but like you cant find an address.
