Coal tipple rail weight question

So, what weight of rail should I use for my coal tipple? I’m modeling the D&RGW in the late 70s/early 80s, and my main mine that I’ll be building first is based on the Edna/Walthers New River Mine. My rail is code 70 and code 55, as I’m not modeling much mainline stuff, mostly Craig Branch-influenced, with branches off of the Craig Branch up to the mines.

Would the rails under the tipple need to be HEAVIER and stronger, or lighter? I model HO, as well. Thanks guys

The main tracks (including the branch main) would probably be code 83, 136 lb rail.

The rails under the tipple would either be code 83 (if the tracks had been upgraded or rebuilt after the 1960’s). Otherwise they would be code 70 or code 75 (100-119 lb rail).

Code 55 would be too light.

The tracks under the tipple wouldn’t need to be heavier than the main.
