Colorado Crossings 2025

Took the family to Colorado Crossings at the Colorado Railroad Museum today. RGS Number 20 was leading the excursion. We missed the Galloping Goose parade. It was great to see folks out and enjoying some Colorado history.

I love the scenery, Casey. A modellers paradise no matter the locomotive you ran.

Thanks for posting.

Love the pictures, Casey! :locomotive:

It’s cool that you got to go out there. Sadly I have not but I hope to sometime during a summer to make the trip. I got introduced to the Colorado Railroad Museum through Hyce’s YouTube channel, he has a lot of cool things about railroad history, and plenty of good stories. Kinda jealous not gonna lie.

Thanks David, but this one is all real - no way I could match the scenery. This was at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado. Great spot to visit if you make over to Colorado.

Garrett, the museum is well worth you time if you find yourself out in Denver. I feel spoiled living within 45 minutes of it. My daughter loves visiting and their collection is awesome, especially if you are in to Colorado railroad history.

It is fascinating to see girls taking an interest in railroads. Both of my granddaughters are interested also.
My older granddaughter has her own garden railway on an American theme.
My younger granddaughter loves the 1-1 stuff and can be seen often at ‘Locomotion’ in County Durham.
