I have five (5) Digitrax DS64 Stationary Decoders, a Digitrax UP5 LocoNet Universal Panel and a DB150 Digitrax Command station/booster in my layout.
Question: Should I connect the “common +” terminals together on the DS64’s and the UP5 with the “Ground” terminal on the DB150? I am having an issue with some custom LED turnout circuits and want to determine if this would help.

The only ‘ground’ wire I have is between the Digitrax Command Station(DCS100) and my Booster(DB150). All of the other Loconet stuff(UP5/UR91/PM42) just uses a properly wired Loconet cable. If you are seeing ‘floating’ ground issues with you custom devices, I would talk to the Digitrax Yahoo Group - You will find lots of info by joining(free).

Do not connect the “Common +” on one DS64 to any other DS64 or any other device.
The Common+ is a common designation for wiring of individual DS64’s with there respective input and output wiring schemes.
Do not use one switch contact for controlling the inputs of two different DS64’s either.
