Con-Cor Parts Department

I have purchased a number of sets of the new Con-Cor Suburban passenger cars in addition to a number of the Solarium cars which are the end unit cars. These Solarium cars I have used to complete a number of sets of the 60’ Rivarossi/Walthers sets fo cars that were released without a proper end car. The Con-Cor cars match perfectly with the Walther/Rivarossi cars.

In my last order of a few sets of these Suburban cars there was an issue with a set of trucks and I was missing a couple of diaphrams.

I contacted Con-Cor and within a few days they mailed me the replacement parts I needed. There was no hassle, I did not have to provide sales slips.

I wiish the other manufacturers were as easy to deal with as Con-Cor.

Glad to hear ConCor is back in the game…this is a quantum leap compared to the stories of old from them,

On a related note…I ordered some parts from Atlas recently, and they came very quickly! My only wish is that their parts website would be fixed to allow online ordering again…the parts supply and documentation is second to none in this industry when it comes to an online format. Prices are great as well.

That is good to know. For some reason, I thought Con-Cor was no longer in business. My mistake.

I emailed con cor 2 1/2 weeks ago regarding a glitch I am having with a product and have yet to hear back from them.[8o|]

Try telephoning them, then you get to talk to a live person.

It seems their computer system is nto to reliable…I placed an order and after a month of no reciept I CALLED and was told by a nice lady that the computer was down and they were shipping the old fashioned way…by HAND. Not only that , but she thought she remembered seeing my address…she went to look and found my package and said it would be on its way that day or the next.

I don’t know if that was a rouse or not, but it worked!

I’ve got a couple of calls into their Parts Dept. I am going to try again today. My sense is that it is a small time operation, people wise.

Rich

I will try calling them, if I don’t get a response to my email soon, but I feel this is counter productive on Con Cors part.

When I’m at work I much prefer to receive a query by email than telephone. This way , it’s much easier to answer the query when I’m not busy with something else. I can also take the time to consult a coworker for information that I may not have in front of me.

I reached them by phone on Friday.

I’ve got a feeling that emailing is hopeless.

Rich

All of my inquiries were in the form of e-mail.

I e-mailed them that I was short diaphrams on several of the Suburban cars, I was sent replacement diaphrams

I emailed them that I was having issues with two of the coaches with what I suspected were the trucks. Replacement trucks were sent out to me. I replaced the trucks on two of the coaches and now those two coaches run fine.

I did not receive any e-mails back on those issues,

In addition I have asked questions about possible forethcoming items and I did receive e-mails indicating if they were or were not bringing out the item in the future.

I have never phoned them.

I have never emailed them.
