Connecticut to repair Norwalk Bridge
One can only hope that these repairs work. There are three other bridges needing replacement on this state owned portion of the northeast corridor. It would make sense for Connecticut to sell this problem to the Federal Gov’t/Amtrak if they can. I believe if this is done Amtrak would control the entire corridor. If CT got $1 for the sale they would still be doing much better financially than owning it.
Just imagine how nice it would be if there was actually a picture of the existing bridge - Dream On Subscribers!
